Chess

Classic chess and 13 variants: explosions, duck, spells, fog and four-player battles. Play with friends or bots.

Game rules

  1. Choose a mode before starting: two players for most modes, exactly four for Four-Player Chess and Bughouse.
  2. Move by selecting a piece and destination, or drag your piece. Right-drag draws a planning arrow; right-click marks a square. Duck and spells still use one compound turn; reserve pieces can be dropped.
  3. Clocks and legal moves are controlled by the server. Leaving or resigning loses the game; bot games do not change Elo.
